RBG-ATL WILL HOST A WEEKLY POTLUCK
During Black August Resistance the practice of fasting is held high. "The tradition of fasting during Black August teaches self-discipline. A conscious fast is in effect from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. The sundown meal is traditionally shared whenever possible among comrades".
Following in tradition RBG-ATL will host a weekly community potluck.
We HIGHLY encourage and would love to break fast with anyone who is practicing fasting during Black August Resistance and or anyone who is interested in sharing a meal together.
Bring an offering to the potluck Community Dinner. Vegan/Vegetarian preferred and no alcoholic beverages.
This is a zero waste event, so please keep that in mind. Dinnerware (plates and silverware) will be available, however, you should bring your own cup.
